Job Title: Account Manager – Sales and Event Lead

Salary: 38-45k depending on experience

Smart Live, a company within Smart Group, are looking to expand their team after having a successful year delivering Virtual Events. As we continue back into a normal world, Smart Live will be looking to deliver events both in a Virtual and Live capacity and are excited about what the team can achieve next.

The Role:

As the team expands to grow into the new world we find ourselves in, we are looking for an individual who can not only deliver Virtual and Live Events but has a passion for sourcing new business. Working alongside a Sales Department within Smart Group, this role will be responsible for farming leads within our extensive database and seeking new opportunities to service with our extended offering. This role will be responsible for a few client accounts as well, delivering events such as Conferences, Business Updates, Summer/ Christmas Parties, and other employee engagement activations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Sales lead, working with Smart Group sales teams to identify new leads, start client communications and send proactive proposals
+ Manage new business enquiries from both existing and new clients, keeping CRM platforms up to date with latest communications and proposals
+ Building proposals and tender responses, producing a response that not only matches but exceeds the client’s expectations
+ Be responsible for dedicated accounts as the key client contact and project manager, handling all communications and project deliverables
+ Lead client projects from enquiry to delivery, producing project reports, meeting agendas and minutes, and full budget management
+ Projects predominately will have a focus on corporate conferences and business updates
+ Other project deliverables will include events for private and corporate clients such as Christmas and Summer Parties

Qualities and Experience:

+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in delivering events (live and virtual) and an appetite for sales
+ Have a good foundation of technical and production knowledge
+ Excellent communication and presentations skills
+ Microsoft outlook, excel, PowerPoint/ keynote and word skills
+ Be knowledgeable about London venues
+ Experience in any of the following would be useful but not mandatory – content creation such as presentations for clients, script writing and video creation/ showcalling and technical running orders/ experience using Salesforce
+ Be proactive, have a hardworking and self-starter attitude
+ Be organised, calm under pressure and have the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
+ Be fun, be creative and be passionate in all that you deliver
