Summer Is Almost Here
An exciting time as the UK starts to reopen its hospitality doors and we look forward to being able to celebrate together once again! As the idea of summer parties and being able to gather in groups becomes more of a reality, we thought we would share with you some of our favourite summer party themes…
A Very British Summer:
We all missed out on summer 2020 so why not celebrate this summer with a theme that we know best, ‘A Very British Summer’ focusing on the staycations we are all looking forward to and our wonderful British seaside. Bringing in the blues, reds and whites from the Union Jack and pops of colour with bespoke beach huts that your guests can decorate and bring their own design to. Focusing on the catering can really bring this theme to life with the British classics from your quintessentially British picnic to everyone’s favourite seaside treat, fish and chips. Take a trip down the pier with live entertainment, rides, and classic fairground stalls. It wouldn’t be a trip to the seaside without beach balls, deck chairs, sandcastles and seagulls. This theme has endless opportunities and is perfect for your summer party.
Let your hair down it’s 2021!
As many people look forward to 2021, Summer is a brilliant time to let your hair down and enjoy yourself! Inspired by the 60’s psychedelic patterns and ‘flower power’ design the theming is full of vibrant colours, paisley patterns, and festival vibes. Bringing in activities for your guests to enjoy and embrace their creativity from flower crown design, flower beard creations to psychedelic canvas paintings. The festival feel is somewhere your guests can relax, party and make new memories. Creating beautifully colourful seating areas with rugs cushions and the iconic VW vans to really embrace the groovy vibes of the 60s. Entertainment being a focus for this theme with music zones allowing guests to explore and let their hair flow through the breeze!
Club Tropicana – Drinks are Free
As per the title ‘all drinks are free’ in this tropical paradise inspired summer party. After months of being in lockdown reward staff with boutique bars and tropical experiences. Think bright and vibrant colours with theming, colourful flowers, lanterns, and banners. With flamingos, pineapples and palm leaves throughout! Bring the tropical theme to life with a BBQ menu served to guests from live cooking stations. Bespoke tipi bars are a must have serving cocktails in coconuts and pineapples – it wouldn’t be right to not have the little umbrellas in there.
Party games for all to enjoy with limbo competitions, beach volleyball and coconut shies. Steel bands will be the statement of the party accompanied with dancers it will be the talking point of the day. Fancy dress is a must for this theme!
Summer of Sustainability:
Make a positive difference and leave an equally positive message with the event promoting ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’! Bringing the theme to life and focusing on sustainability all furniture will be up-cycled or repurposed. Make sure you consider in-season blooms and greenery for fabulous table arrangements. Why not teach your guests some new skills and have a tree planting corner where they can take their newly potted plant home. Get your team moving with a cycle smoothie, simply add your ingredients and pedal away to produce a drink to enjoy! Finally, the party bag of today? Send guests home with a posy of flowers from the table, tied with the bows of the table setting.
Summer Speakeasy
All the Glitz and Glamour of the roaring 20s with a Summer twist. Your very own speakeasy bar bringing the prohibition-era to life with surprises at every twist and turn. Guests will need their password and special knock to gain access to the secret garden bar where guests are greeted by bartenders in vests and suspenders pouring them a drink from tea pots. Furniture is simple with leather couches, brick walls and rustic wood décor. The space is unassuming from the outside but a whole world of entertainment lies within.
